NetBazzar.in - Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. Scope and Introduction
This Cancellation and Refund Policy governs the process for cancelling orders and requesting refunds for transactions made between registered Manufacturers/Suppliers ("Sellers") and registered Resellers ("Buyers") on the www.netbazzar.in platform ("Platform"). This policy is part of our overall Terms and Conditions ([Link to Terms and Conditions]). By using the Platform, both Buyers and Sellers agree to adhere to this policy.
2. NetBazzar's Role
NetBazzar.in provides a B2B marketplace platform to connect Buyers and Sellers. NetBazzar is not a party to the transaction between the Buyer and Seller. We do not typically handle goods, shipping, or process refunds related to the products exchanged between Users. This policy outlines the expected procedures between Buyers and Sellers facilitated through our Platform.
3. Order Cancellation Policy
- Buyer Cancellation: Buyers may request to cancel an order only before the Seller has marked the order as "Shipped" or provided tracking information on the Platform. Cancellation requests should be made through the order management interface on the Platform.
- Seller Cancellation: Sellers may cancel an order if they are unable to fulfill it (e.g., due to stock unavailability) before the order is shipped. Sellers should notify the Buyer promptly through the Platform if they need to cancel.
- Cancellation After Shipment: Once an order has been marked as "Shipped" by the Seller on the Platform, it cannot be cancelled by the Buyer. The Buyer must then wait to receive the item and follow the Refund Policy if applicable.
4. Shipping Responsibility
- The Seller is solely responsible for the packaging, shipment, and delivery of the products ordered through the Platform.
- Sellers are expected to provide accurate tracking information via the Platform once the order is shipped.
- Buyers should review any specific shipping terms provided by the Seller on their profile or listing, if available. NetBazzar is not responsible for shipping delays, damages during transit (unless directly caused by inadequate packaging by the Seller), or non-delivery. Issues related to shipping performance should be addressed directly between the Buyer and Seller, potentially involving the shipping carrier.
5. Refund Policy
- Eligibility Window: Buyers may request a refund or replacement only within 7 calendar days of the confirmed delivery date of the order. The delivery date is determined by the tracking information provided by the Seller and confirmed by the shipping carrier.
- Strict Time Limit: Refund requests initiated after 7 calendar days from the confirmed delivery date will not be accepted or processed.
- Valid Reasons for Refund Request: Refund requests within the 7-day window may be considered for the following reasons:
- Product received is significantly damaged upon arrival (requires proof, e.g., photos of packaging and product).
- Product received is significantly different from the description provided in the listing (requires proof, e.g., photos comparing item received to listing).
- Wrong item received.
- Non-Eligible Reasons: Refunds will generally not be provided for:
- Change of mind after the order has been shipped.
- Minor variations in colour, design, or specifications that are reasonable within B2B trade standards.
- Issues arising from Buyer misuse or mishandling of the product after delivery.
- Damage during return shipping due to inadequate packaging by the Buyer.
- Any request made after the 7-day window has expired.
6. Refund Process
- Initiate Request: Within 7 calendar days of delivery, the Buyer must initiate a refund request through the NetBazzar.in platform, clearly stating the reason for the request and providing supporting evidence (e.g., clear photographs, detailed description of the issue, order ID). Communication should occur via the Platform's messaging system for record-keeping.
- Seller Review: The Seller will review the refund request and evidence provided by the Buyer. The Seller is expected to respond via the Platform within [e.g., 3-5] business days.
- Resolution:
- Approved: If the Seller approves the refund, they will coordinate the return process (if applicable) and issue the refund directly to the Buyer (e.g., via bank transfer or agreed method).
- Return Shipment (if applicable): If a return is required, the Buyer is typically responsible for return shipping costs unless the reason for return is due to Seller error (damaged/wrong item), in which case the Seller should cover reasonable return shipping costs. The item must be returned in its original condition and packaging, unless the damage is the reason for the return. The Seller may wait to issue the refund until the returned item is received and inspected.
- Rejected: If the Seller rejects the refund request, they must provide a clear reason via the Platform.
- Disputes: If the Buyer and Seller cannot reach an agreement, either party may escalate the issue to NetBazzar support within [e.g., 10] calendar days of the initial request. See Section 8 (Dispute Resolution).
7. Seller's Responsibility for Refunds
- Sellers are solely responsible for processing and issuing approved refunds directly to the Buyer. NetBazzar does not hold funds related to the transaction between Buyer and Seller (unless a specific escrow or payment service is implemented and described separately) and is not responsible for issuing product-related refunds.
- Sellers are expected to process approved refunds promptly, typically within [e.g., 5-7] business days after approving the request or receiving the returned item (if applicable).
8. Dispute Resolution
- If a Buyer and Seller cannot resolve a cancellation or refund issue directly, either party can request assistance from NetBazzar support by providing all relevant communication logs and evidence (photos, etc.).
- NetBazzar will review the case based on this policy, the Terms and Conditions, and the evidence provided.
- NetBazzar may attempt to mediate but does not guarantee a resolution satisfactory to both parties. NetBazzar's role is primarily to ensure the platform policies are considered.
- NetBazzar reserves the right to take action on user accounts (e.g., warnings, suspension) based on the findings of a dispute investigation, but NetBazzar cannot compel a Seller to issue a refund or a Buyer to accept a resolution against their will. Legal recourse between the Buyer and Seller remains an option outside the Platform.
9. Policy Changes
NetBazzar reserves the right to modify this Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the1 updated policy on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
